Team members representing a cross section of Schneider Electric products and companies promoted our first One Schneider exhibit at the AFCOM Data Center World Conference Fall trade show in Orlando, Florida last week. The conference provided an opportunity to drive the message that Schneider Electric Data Center Solutions provide the highest availability and maximum efficiency from rack to row to room to building.

Data Center World is presented by AFCOM, the premier data center association representing 4,500 of the largest data centers around the world. It is the largest global event of its kind, named one of the 50 fastest growing tradeshows in the U.S., and the leading educational conference for data center professionals. Attendees typically are individuals involved in operating and maintaining the systems, security, processing and infrastructure of a data center.

Participants in the best practice seminars and roundtables heard from industry experts on trends in data center management, including a presentation on the subject of Data Center Efficiency and Reliability presented by Schneider Electric employee Lee Featherstone. This presentation highlighted the impact of a power monitoring system in reducing utility costs, optimizing equipment utilization and improving reliability to minimize the frequency of unplanned outages.
